2010, has seen Skoda win many awards in the automotive industry, actually as a brand they have now won 20 this year! The latest award is for the Skoda Superb Estate; Channel 5s hit car show Fifth Gear has named it Family Car of the year 2010.
Fifth Gears presenter, Jonny Smith reviewed the car early in the year and as far back as then was confident the Superb Estate was a winner, "Right at the beginning of the year, I crowned this the greatest estate ever - and I stand by that even now. The mixture of space, speed, refinement, value, economy, comfort - it's a beaut, honestly, if you're a dad and you need a car to carry all the flotsam and jetsam that comes with it, this is the car you need. Skodas models have all been recognised this year, with the new Skoda Octavia in Oxfordshire, Skoda Yeti, Skoda Superb and Skoda Superb Estate racking up a raft of product awards across a wide range of publications and organisations. The Skoda Superb alone has won two Auto Express awards, for Best Family and Best Estate Car; Best Large Car and Best Estate Car from Diesel Car; The Caravan Club's class winner and Towcar of the Year; and Fleet News' Best Upper-Medium Car.
