One of the main skills that you must master in your MLM business is Prospecting. Pitching is not prospecting. When you do that you sound like everyone else. Here are three keys to keep in mind when prospecting with the 2K Guerrilla Marketing System.
Show Interest in others first- The way to do this is by starting with a simple question like: How is your business going?
Show genuine interest by actually listening to the response instead of being so eager to pitch your opportunity. Since you are will not be pitching your business opportunity on the front end of the system, this should be easy to do.
Talk to a lot of people- This eliminates the desire to chase after people who have a false interest in your business. That is the purpose of the 10 Day Blitz. It is a numbers game. You are not trying to recruit a superstar. Instead you are looking only for people who want your help.
This is different from chasing people. If someone feels like they do not need, or want your help then move on. If someone acts like they are doing you a favor, then move on.
Set a goal- The goal is twenty percent of 100. Twenty people who say yes equals 20 affiliate sales, equals $2,000. The idea is that you get better as you go, and your percentages will increase.
When prospecting you can talk to everybody, or you can just focus on a target market. There are pros and cons to each strategy.
