Whether you are thinking about weight loss,financial freedom or even getting fitter the most important thing is to TAKE ACTION TODAY.It is far too easy to put these things off until tomorrow.

Before you know it, another week,month or year has gone by and you have taken no action, put on some more weight or run up those credit cards and have to start from a worse position than you were previously in.

Whatever area you are looking to improve you should take some action right now to get started.It may be going for a walk, skipping the snack that you were about to have or sitting down and working out your finances. You will find that even by taking a small step in the right direction you will feel so much better about yourself and will have a better chance of reaching your goals.

Whatever the small step is that you take, studies have shown that if you can keep it up for 3 weeks then it is likely to become a habit.It is also important to start out with realistic and achievable aims. If you set unrealistic targets, then each time that you miss out on achieving a target then it is less likely to become a habit that you will be able keep up.

Most people set New Years resolutions at this time of the year and then take no action thereby setting themselves up for failure.Twelve months later they set the same resolution and still take no action thus setting up an endless cycle of failure. As an example,if your aim is to get fitter this year why not go for a 15 minute walk or jog RIGHT NOW!

No excuses,just do it.At least then you can say that you have started work on your goals as opposed to just talking about it.You will be surprised how good you feel just by taking action.
