Where you are new to internet marketing everybody tells you that you got to have a list. Building your list is the most important aspect of your business. This is where you get leads, sales and recruits. In other words you make money. If you don't have one you are not going to survive in the internet world. Here are 4 basic steps to build your list.
Make a Lead Capture Page. The money is in the list remember? A Lead Capture Page is a webpage in which you give something free, that's has lots of value for your prospect in exchange of their name and email. You build communication with your leads, trust and relationship to find out what they really need and want.
Drive traffic to the Lead Capture Page. There's a lot of techniques and sources to drive traffic. I recommend, that you learn and become an expert with one technique at a time. Some sources or techniques that you can choose from are Adwords, article marketing, social media, press releases and many others.
Build a relationship with your list. Send emails with questions, this motivates them to write you back. When you write an email with a subject of: "What's your biggest challenge?" You will be amaze of how many people answer back and then you have what they need. If someone writes you an email, please answer it back. This build a strong relationship with that person.
Monetize your list. How you can make money? You create products on the needs of your list. If your Lead Capture Page was for people that need help recruiting in Network Marketing, make products about that. If many people ask you about how to get more traffic or whatever, create products about those questions. Fill their needs, their thirsty to know more and best of all they will pay.
