subject: Four Ways To Get Yourself A Luxury Car Without Breaking The Bank [print this page]

It's the dream of most drivers to be able to walk into Aston Martin dealers, choose the model that they want and drive away in a car from one of the most luxurious car manufacturer ever.

Unfortunately, as you're looking at starting price tags of in excess of 100,000 pounds, it stays as a dream for many.

However, just because you can't afford to have your pick of cars from Aston Martin dealers doesn't meant that you can't be driving around in a luxurious car and these manufacturers explain how you can get yourself a luxury car without having to break the bank.

1. Go second hand - one of the best ways to get an affordable luxury car is to buy second hand, as aside from some cars of which only a small handful were built, there's likely to be available a second hand version of every car you've ever been interested in.

It might take some time to find it and it might not be in the condition that you had hoped for, but if you spend some time searching and understanding how much you should be paying for the model dependent on various factors, including its condition, chances are you'll get the luxury car you want at a price that you can afford to pay.

2. Don't be picky - if you're dream is to be driving around in a luxury car but you don't have the budget to match, it's important that you aren't picky about the car that you buy.

Of course, you don't have to pick the first car that you come across, but if you're budget is limited, rather than stating an exact model from a specific year, only narrow your preferences down to a certain manufacturer or even a selection of different models, rather than one specific car.

3. Look down avenues you haven't done in the past - when you've gone out looking for a new car previously, it's highly likely that you've revolved your search around traditional dealerships, of both the new and second-hand variety.

When you're looking for an affordable luxury car, however, whilst you should still have a look around some of your local second hand car dealers, it's important that you look in places you may not have previously ventured.

From online auction websites to classified adverts in specialist car magazines, the sellers are all more than likely to be private, but as long as you do your research, you shouldn't have any problems.

It's also recommended that you look further afield than your local area - speak to any major car enthusiast and it wouldn't be surprising if they explained that they wouldn't think twice about driving the length of the country to get the car that they wanted.

4. Be patient - buying a new car is an exciting process and you can get caught up in the whole excitement, purchasing a car that you think is perfect for you, before you've even shopped around or looked at other models.

Therefore, if you're looking to buy a luxury car within a certain budget, it's strongly advised that you be patient and hold off, as if you wait long enough, chances are the car you want will enter the market at a price you can afford to pay.
