Project Management
Project Management

Here, the consultant from HGRB Services really "gets in deep" about the flagrant and often naive disregard many home dwellers can have by not seizing and guiding the reigns of power which are rightfully theirs.

Most assuredly, this is a "no-holds-barred" presentation. Here, the men are separated from the boys, the women from the girls, and the project managers, from the push-overs. No-holds-barred.

[excerpts italized in quotation]

"Big mistake. This is a big mistake because, in this situation, the customer negligently relinquishes all control for the project ... So, although, in this case, the customer is the one with the money, ultimately, the one whose got the most control over the project, is the one with the most control over the money. ... ..."

All inclusive to RB's synopsis for the person with most control over the project is not only the amount of relative spending, but, as much, the how and when it will be made, and for what.

"Nationwide, properties continue to make the list of short sales. Foreclosure has become an embarassing American standard ... ... and although we can try to blame it all on the wanton financial mismanagement of government or on a so-called economic stimulus package which, apparently, only stimuates the economics of privatized hot pockets, a lot of it is due to our own, personal financial mistakes."

"Now, to some degree I expect an interjection from one person or another with regards to the relativity of what's evidently financial mismanagement as opposed to project management."

" I thought this was all about project management. Where'd the money come in?"

"Well, the money came in when the project came in ... ... ... without it, there's no project. Whoever manages the money, manages the project. Whoever manages the project is responsible for controlling not just the how and when the money will be used, but for how and when it will not."
