The sweat in the foot area, especially when wearing socks, can be a breeding place to bacteria that produces foul-smelling odor. Everyone should keep in mind that the body, like the skin is covered with many sweat glands, therefore, the hair, armpit, and even the feet can be sweaty. Health articles say that sweat has no odor but with the presence of bacteria and possibly poor hygiene an untoward smell can likely happen. Aside from that, some current health articles even psychological factors can trigger in having a smelly feet. Stress and anxiety causes on to sweat a lot. Because of that, the bacteria will have a hayday and produce fouls smelling odor into the feet. What is worse is when a person does not have a good hygiene and repeats socks and does not clean up their shoes, it can go to extreme. Skin conditions like athletes foots, skin irritation and even skin infection can cause foot odor and smelly feet.

Surely nobody wants to have foot odor. Its just embarrassing and lowers a persons morale. So what are the things that should be done in order to avoid or even cure this problem?

Firstly, a proper and good hygiene is a must. There are just people who wear socks even though their feet are still wet. This is highly not encouraged because bacteria live in moist area. The feet should also be well cleaned. When taking a bath, for sure many people only prioritize the upper part of the body. The feet should also be included in cleaning. Soaping the feet in between the spaces of the fingers is very important to kill bacteria. Health tips in most health articles suggest that soaking the feet with a solution of black tea mixed with cool water have a deodorizing effect into the feet. Soaking the feet with a solution of cider vinegar and lukewarm water is also effective in killing the bacteria on that area. Also, it helps with a foot powder will be placed so that sweat can be avoided.

Socks are very important because it separates out feet from the shoes and even dust, and other harmful elements in the environment. In current health articles, they say that buying thick socks can help in absorbing the moisture. It also helps when socks have fiber or even cotton to that air can freely pass and ventilation occurs, foot odor and smelly feet wont happen at all.
