When people first decide to use Internet marketing for their MLM business, the single biggest area where people begin to hit stumbling blocks is how to get targeted visitors to their website.

One technique for getting targeted visitors to your website that I'm going to discuss right now, is one that is seldomly used but is very effective -- and INEXPENSIVE. This is a great tool you can use to quickly and easily implement Internet marketing for you MLM business.

So what is it? This is the concept of running solo ads or running running your ads in other people's newsletters.

Think about it, and think how this would be a good strategy for using Internet marketing for your MLM business. Say you are marketing a weight loss product. Wouldn't it only make sense to put your message in front of people who you already definitively know are already interested in the benefits your product offers?

By running ads in ezines and using solo ads, you are using a very effective way of getting your message in front of an extremely targeted group of leads. Before you go out and start to run solo ads, though, there are a few "rules" you will want to abide by so that your solo ads will yield good results for you.

Internet Marketing For MLM Solo Ad Rule #1: Never drive traffic to a company replicated website. Always drive this traffic -- and any traffic you generate online -- to a website you create. Ideally you would drive people to a squeeze page where your sole objective is to collect their first name and email address.

Internet Marketing For MLM Solo Ad Rule #2: Don't consider all types of ads that you can run on ezines. You are specifically looking for solo ads, meaning that your ad is the ONLY one going out to that list at any one time. You do not want to have your ad go out in a space you are sharing with other people and other ads.

Internet Marketing For MLM Solo Ad Rule #3: Keep your risk minimal by starting out taking "baby steps" (not giant leaps) with your solo ads. When you go out and run your first few solo ads, try and keep the cost low. Remember that at this point, you are just looking to test drive different sites to see which publishers will be good ones to use to send your solo ads. So once you start seeing results from a publisher, then purchase more solo ads from that publisher. Eliminate the publishers whose lists are not yielding good results for you. Once you have a list of good publishers, then you can start to spend more on your solo ads. It is a lot easier to start small and to scale your way up.
