We'll show you how to get Carrie's Eye Makeup from SATC 2!The girls are back and this time they?re taking the world by storm! The ladies of Sex and The City have returned for an all new movie in which they take a break from their usual lives to vacation in exotic Abu Dhabi.Carrie Bradshaw may have married Mr. Big in the last film, but in this one she encounters her sexy ex, Aidan, while she's vacationing. With a sultry metallic eye look created just for the new movie, is it any wonder Aidan?s still interested? Here?s how to apply Carrie's eye makeup from SATC 2 so that you can turn heads too! You?ll want to start with a palette of soft dove or gunmetal grey and a base color in nude, taupe, or champagne. You'll also need a charcoal grey eye liner and black mascara. A volumizing mascara is preferable.Next, prep your eyes by gently applying a yellow-based concealer. Yellow will help eliminate any dark circles. This look is smoky enough on its own without the help of under-eye circles! If darkness in the area is still a concern, use a highlighting pencil in the inner corners of each eye.To make your look long lasting, apply an eye shadow primer. Then, using a large shadow brush, apply the nude shadow over your entire lid.Use an angled brush to apply the grey color inside the crease of your eyelid. Turn up the intensity by making the line just a bit thicker on the outside edge.Use the eye pencil to draw a thick line in lash line. Try to press the pencil right into the lash area. Smudge with a small makeup brush and repeat on your bottom lid.Top with multiple coats of mascara to finish and give your lashes a full look. To coat each lash, start at the roots and "walk" the wand up and out.If you want this look to be really smoky, apply a bit of the grey on the outside edges of your lower lid.If you find the grey palette is too much for your complexion or eye color, simply substitute a soft chocolate brown or camel color instead.Finish off your look with a light bronzer on cheeks and a nude lipstick.
