Have you ever waited for the law to avenge your course, or for justice to take its course, in a case that you are interested in and you earnestly want the law to case in quality time, that you wait so much so that it seems that you'll have to wait forever, but justice will not come and the law keeps crawling like a snail moving sluggishly to comfort zone.
Make no mistake, the law is brilliant, excellent, clear, vivid and it stands sure, but it's interpretation can be so tiring and frustrating because it requires quality time and pin point accurate delivery, according to the spirit and letters of the constitution, however, the legal system, because of due process drags on sometimes that delay defeats equity.
I know of a very hard working man who paid his dues diligently to become a voice among his peers, he worked endlessly for nights and days because he does not want to be subjected to the background, he went out of his way to be friends with the who is who, when and where it mattered most in his chosen field of endeavor. Of course, the reward for hard work is a good life, a fulfilled career and a very happy family. He got the voice, he could talk were it mattered most without being despised, If and whenever he was called to the podium, he was giving a loud sounding recognition that we are all amazed and we admired his presence on stage, he was indeed a presence on the scene. His life was legibly sparsely furnished and crudely decorated.
No one would want to lead life like Robinson Crusoe, who lived a private life on the island, barely interacts with people, else the foul stench of psychosis and the internal rotting and decay of his mind would be perceived from the ends of the earth. This man interacts and became a master at socializing, which opened him up to a whole lot of people that affected his business positively, but because of his social status he had a top bottom approach, which opens the door of the high and the mighty before him.
Like that say, a time to sow and a time to reap, a hard working day call for a very cold beer, just like a long journey makes home much more desired, so much like a three month old baby who has being deprived of her mother's breast milk, just when he thought he could go on and on, invest, reinvest, Plough back profits into his investment, he got involved in one of this get money quick schemes, this wonder backs, were he was told 50 for 50 and a 100 for 100 who does not want to break away from the low strata of the society, even the rich want badly to get richer, that greedy part of him set in, he invested 5million and made 5million as profit in record time, what a deal he exclaimed, but greed has a way of make us blind just like love. he reinvested the whole lot this time, and just when he thought he had it he lost it, all his investment and reinvestment was blown away like a heap of dry leaves.
Without giving it a second thought, for some one of his status, he had good legal backing, which he opted for in good time, of course he would not do business with out defining the terms of business in black and white. He went to court hoping to justice and be vindicated, thinking that in good time all these will be over, having learnt a good lesson the hard way, he would take home what's his and their would never be a next time. The law begin to drag on and on and on, he begins to get frustrated. the next time in court, he anticipates the verdict of the judge, but to no avail, the system wears out a better part of him.
One cannot but begin to pass blames on these man for the greedy tricks he employed as a tool in his business investments, but pray hard for justice to take its course. After a judge has invested good time to do his research on the case, another judge was assigned the case, how do one get vindicated in this kind of scenario, little wonder our democracy suffers set back because, even the third realm of the estate shoots forth it ugly roots. But for this man his verdict is almost reached, lets all hope the case is not closed, as the death of either of both parties leads to the quietness of justice.
