This TV is easy to use and has a beautiful picture with a great tone. The only problem is the TV standard. And well mounted and the TV is not completely stable above. This in turn causes the TV to sit leaning against the right side. The initial view that the television was sent to the lower right of 7.16 inches. After spending 1-1/2 hours on the phone with customer service, sent a new was better, but not much. The total is now just below the eighth of an inch, and even swing. Customer service is very slow in Mexico and is more for the phone agent I spoke with was unaware of the product. He continued to information not available on TV to collect. Fortunately, we have been disconnected and I wore a new agent who said he has all the necessary information.

I am very happy with my purchase of this tv. It has met or exceeded what I expected from it. I watch movies and also play video games on it and the picture is excellent. The only thing negative I would have to say is that the tv is hard to see when sun gets on it because of the glass front, however I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and the glass will save the tv so I have no real complaints...Great TV
Searched, Searched and Searched on line, stores etc. Compared Samsung, Sony, Toshiba and was very close to buying a Toshiba and then Consumer Reports updated their TV reviews and added this LG SL80 and rated it very high. So did a quick review to validate their information and then bought 2 actually.
I have never written a review on Amazon before, but I do have to write a review on this TV as there is only one review giving it one star. I received this TV today and couldn't ask for better service from Amazon. They delivered it with the free shipping and the company even installed it for me! This TV has very beautiful lines and with its "borderless" frame design, I would have to agree with most it just makes it that much better. The intelligent sensor on this TV is a nice feature for people that like the TV to do all the adjusting automatically based on your lighting but I would have to say that using the vivid setting with the energy saving is the best setting. The trumotion 240 Hz is an excellent feature to have as it smoothes out jitter from previous 60 Hz models. Personally, I could not have picked a better TV for the price and I would have to say this is a steal and would recommend it to anyone!
I told myself when I bought this TV I would write a review on it, as the only one currently on here is 1 star. THIS TV FLAT OUT ROCKS!!! The picture quality on this thing is absolutely stunning. The Blacks are deep, and the lines are crisp. Right out of the box the preset picture settings are very good (I personally like the Vivid setting, the Xbox 360 and Gears of War look awesome). Even when the power is off on this tv, there isnt a tv on the market that looks nicer. This tv is only 1.8" thick at its thickest point, and having the "seamless" front it looks sleek and beautiful. I would highly reccommend this product to anyone. Only negatives about it is the sound quality is so-so, but I did get the Harman/Kardon HKTS-18 speakers and the pioneer VSX-819-K receiver to solve this slight problem. Overall I paid $1350 shipped for this tv, and could not be happier with this thing. I doubt you could find an LCD TV with a better picture than this at this pricepoint. This truly is a GREAT tv.
