subject: Seven Reasons Why Network Marketers Fail [print this page] Why do so many network marketers fail? Why do so many network marketers fail?
As complicated as we tend to humans are, there are likely as several reasons why the high failure rate in network promoting as there are stars within the sky. Here, there are seven reasons which in all probability account for a lot of failures, not in any order of importance:
Reason 1 - They are doing not network enough
Years ago once I initial started, I scan a book by a woman from Malaysia who left company workplace to multi-level marketing. And I always remember what she wrote, though this may not be in her the precise words:
"Did you work hard enough?
Did you network arduous enough?
Did you think onerous enough?"
I assumed what she wrote was rather profound and in fact, I typically ponder over the that means of 'network marketer' that is created of two root words: networking and marketing.
I found many network marketers who do not network thanks to a scarcity of knowledge of business networking that is defined as a cluster of individuals having some kind of business relationship like the relationships between boss and employee, buyer and supplier, and colleague and colleague.
Networking specialists say that business networking functions best when people supply to assist others to seek out connections, rather than just "cold-calling" on prospects. A lot of about networking can be mentioned in future chapters.
Reason a pair of - They are doing not understand marketing
Here's the opposite root word of the term 'network marketer' - marketing.
Network marketers return from all walks of life and many of them are not from sales and marketing background. So, they totally don't understand how promoting works.
It's thus not shocking that several network marketers end up 'spamming' others either offline or online.
Reason three - They are doing not take the business seriously
If network marketers take their business as a hobby, and solely work on it as and after they like, the business will pay them like a hobby.
On the other hand, those network marketers who take their business seriously are paid handsomely.
Reason 4 - They need no religion
Network promoting is a religion business. In alternative words, a network marketer needs to believe in himself/herself in order to succeed.
In this case, standard knowledge of 'seeing is not believing' does not apply. One needs to belief 1st in order to work out things happening!
By seeing others who succeeded before them, a network marketer must believe that they will make it too and then start taking action consistently.
Reason five - They have no vision
Network marketers need vision to succeed. In different words, a network marketer desires to see the forest, not the trees.
Each activity whether it's prospecting, presenting, training, etc should be seen in the light of moving the business forward rather than disjointed events. Thus, a simple failure or obstacle can not be able to cause a network marketer to quit easily.
Reason half-dozen - They are doing not understand that it is a process
Success may be a journey. It takes time. Nobody will become successful overnight.
Thus, network marketers should understand that the process takes time and therefore should invest time to find out, unlearn and relearn so as to become better and higher at what they are doing.
Reason 7 - They do not know enough of how things work
Network marketers don't apprehend how things work and do all the wrong things. For example, they could lack individuals skills like interpersonal and communication skills and therefore don't recognize the way to prospect and present their opportunities effectively.
