'Why should students in the North West of England and Businesses register and use Maxamundo?'
This has to be seen in the context of a handheld device, we have built the system, a proof of concept that proves we can design and develop a commercial product. What we have today is a powerful back-end which runs on our own server this coupled with a static webbased front-end which allows users to interact and add information. The next step is further develop our handheld version which allows users to access information, data and media in the real world.
We have advantage in that we aren't tied to anybody, we have control over, and we don't have to protect a brand. Given investment and a reasonable user base we can experiment with the ideas we have and hopefully establish ourselves as a recognisable web entity.
Why should Northwest students show us their support? Because it's not originated from Harvard College Facebook' but as it says in the startup A Labour of Love from the Northwest Of England' and its there own.
We are really into the idea of GeoRetail where high street position no longer matters, if you're a small scale trader or even a trader without presises you can contact and interact with customers. Bridging the gap between online shopping and real world retail. As the project evolves this will be our focus... All the peices are in place and over the coming weeks as the project evolves it will be interesting to receive feedback and guildence from our Business and Student users alike.
