It sounds as if every year there are a growing number of studies concerning natural products that are designed to allow us to enjoy a better life. One major trend in recent times has been green tea. There are a lot of people that state the benefits of green tea are unlimited. There are some that make sure they drink at least one cup each day, and there are other people who take green tea supplements. I'm not sure about the science guiding his claims, but there are many, many individuals who believe them.

One of the first advantages of green tea I learned about was weight loss. I've heard many statements that green tea can assist you lose weight by raising your metabolic rate. I have also heard that one benefit of green tea is that it can help eliminate fat and toxins from your system. I do not know if this is true, but I know that when I drink a cupful of hot, green tea every evening, I do tend to feel better for the most part. I'm not sure why this is, but it is certainly a very good reason to keep drinking it.

One of the other great things about green tea I have heard is that if you drink enough of it that it can help you suppress your appetite. I have seen weight-loss aids on the shelves at my local store claiming this is among the great benefits of green tea, and that they have put this green tea straight into their product. Furthermore, I saw a gum made from green tea, which was supposed to help curb your appetite between meals. I don't know whether green tea helps, but I do know that gum between meals can indeed prevent you from eating. This is more of a psychological thing than anything though.

It won't matter if you believe the benefits of green tea are good for you or not. The advantage of green tea is the fact that it certainly won't harm you if you drink it. If the only benefits of green tea are that you are relaxed and calm each evening, and perhaps it is indeed worth the trouble you may go to. If you're wondering what it really can do for you, perhaps you should try a little to discover what can happen. Add green tea in your daily diet, and see if you find that you are feeling better, or perhaps slimming down a bit more easily.

A different sort of tea which is becoming common is nettle tea. For those that don't know nettle is a plant which has a long medicinal past with regards to cleaning the body. One French article which i have lately uncovered is stinging nettle (ortie) and may prove rather interesting to have a look.
