There are a lot of individuals who doubt the weight of prayers. Sadly, a large amount of these people are in the Christian religion. Suffice is to claim that they are purely Christians in Christian name, but entirely the reverse by faith and virtue. Martin Luther, Jr. before said that, "to be a Christian without a prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing." We must bring to mind that Martin Luther himself was a German priest and a theology professor who founded the Protestant Reformation. Although he turned his back on Catholicism, he still maintained that there is no more potent as a prayer as ubiquitous in every faith and philosophies. Here, in Kenneth Copeland Ministries, we hold the similar devotion as the prayer is the only road to redemption.
Saint Augustine formerly quoted, "pray as though the whole thing depended on God. Work as though the whole thing depended on you." This wonderful excerpt is a virtuous meditation for someone who does not have faith in themselves. There was one time a popular legend told about a man who kept on praying on a statue for thirty years. Every day he he would come and plead for the statue to give him the chance to win in the lottery. At last one day, the frustrated sculpture stood up and told him, "My friend, buy a lottery ticket!"
This tells us that naught comes from a prayer devoid of action. A lot of us pray for fortune, for accomplishment, for a steady income, for good grades. These are good prayers. And they can be real and genuine if we also incorporate it with great actions. For a person who just sits lazily and wait until the apple fall down from the tree is an inferior person compared to a person who will climb the tree and pluck it himself.
A large number of us also pray ardently when we desire something. But forget to pray for gratefulness when we succeed on something huge. Mahatma Gandhi said, "Prayer is not asking. It's a longing of the spirit. It is a day by day admittance of a person's weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart with no words than words lacking of a heart." Do not pray for lighter burdens, pray for stronger backs. It will bring you more knowledge and more courage to accept the challenges in your life. Some people pray because they have to, not because they want to. Some people pray for avoidance, not for solitude. It is in this case that a prayer becomes fruitless. For a prayer with no reason is like a song with no tune.
Diana Robinson said that prayer is when you talk to God, meditation is when you listen to God. In Kenneth Copeland Ministries, you will understand how to successfully synch yourself with God's rightful plan for you so you can efficiently say your prayers in his ears, as well as to meditate heavily so you can reflect on how to accomplish your deeds.
God works in undecipherable ways. When a door is closed upon us, a window is opened. When we want something really badly, He will guide you to it. Sometimes God uses instruments, like persons or ministries or congregation. Let Kenneth Copeland Ministries be God's solitary instrument for you.
