For various hardware devices, there are three types of windows mobile available namely, Windows Mobile professional, Windows mobile standard and Windows mobile classic. After Pocket 2000, came Pocket 2002 which could be used with smart phones. It was also similar in design to Windows XP operating system. Afterwards Windows Mobile 2003 SE was launched and was last in the category to offer back up options to the users. Then Windows mobile 5 was developed which had several additional features like photo caller ID and increased battery life. It was followed by windows mobile 6 that had three different versions. It was inspired by the Windows Vista operating system for computers.
After windows mobile, Microsoft developed Windows Phone 7, which is installed in the recently released smart phone called Windows Phone HTC HD 7. It is based on a technology called User Interface (UI) and the applications on the home page are arranged in a tile shaped fashion. This arrangement gives the user better access to them. Windows Phone HTC HD 7 is expected to get a very warm welcome from the users due to its new user friendly Windows Phone 7 operating system.
