Pandora decorations have unique designs and exquisite packages, with reasonable prices, which are my favorites. I like to hang around in the Pandora shops and pick up some little cute things. Actually, I love its name Pandora very much, which is an embodiment of perfect beautiful women though there is something derogatory on her.
This is really an old Greek Mythology. Prometheus, the son of Titans, brought the fire to the earth in order to help human beings. Then human beings could use fire to cook, warm themselves and do something else, which annoyed Zeus a lot. In order to offset the benefits that fire had bought to human beings, Zeus decided to give disasters to the earth. So he ordered Hephaestus, God for forging and melting, to mix water and soil together and then use the mix to shape a lovely woman according to the images of Goddess. And then he asked Aphrodite, Goddess of love and beauty, to give her the seductive scent and Athena to teach her weaving so that Pandora could weave much beautiful cloth. At last, Hermes, an oracle, gifted her ability to speak. So a complete perfect woman Pandora came out.
After that, Zeus gave Pandora a box, with many things inside and asked her to give it to the man who married her. Actually, Zeus gave Pandora to Epmetheus, the brother of Prometheus, as a present. But Prometheus knew that Zeus would do something bad so he asked Epmetheus not to receive this present. But Epmetheus did not take his words seriously. So Pandora and Epmetheus got married and the box was given to Epmetheus. Later, Pandora could not resist her curiosity and opened the box. Then the things in the box got out, including disasters, epidemics and bad luck. But she closed it immediately before hopes came out. So the world on earth became in chaos without hopes.
This is just one version of the Pandora stories. It tells us a perfect beautiful Pandora with evil curiosity. But it could not stop me loving Pandora brand.
