Cons Similar to other professions, the profession of an artist has a number of negative points: Artists have to work even when they have no inspiration or desire to work which negatively affects the result. During recession artists may be left without any job at all as people tend to spend money only on the necessary things. There is a lot of competition among artists for clients regardless of the level of their competency.
