subject: Nfl Tickets - Top Dogs After Week 7 [print this page] The regular season of the NFL is well underway, and for the first time since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970, there are still three undefeated teams atop the standings chart after Week 7. The Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints and Denver Broncos are all selling out NFL tickets like crazy after punching out 6-0 records after Week 7, and here's a more in-depth look at the undefeated teams going into Week 8 of regular season action. If you're looking for tickets to sold-out games this season, be sure to look online first.
Indianapolis Colts: Despite losing kicker Adam Vinatieri for several crucial weeks due to knee surgery and safety Bob Sanders just now healed enough to play, the Colts are still sitting atop most power rankings. It's an undisputed fact that Peyton Manning is having one of his best (if not the best) seasons of his career, and with a smattering of receivers eagerly awaiting the chance to snag a pass from him, Indianapolis seems to be the team to beat this season. Of course, Indy's defense has improved immensely from last year, as well, and with an easy couple of weeks ahead of them, the Colts are likely to be undefeated into Week 10.
New Orleans Saints: The NFC South's New Orleans Saints gave a convincing performance in Week 7 by beating the Miami Dolphins 46-33, and the team's phenomenal 48-27 win against the New York Giants in Week 6 helps make the Saints a top competitor in the NFC and a best bet for Super Bowl contender. New Orleans has had a tough schedule so far, playing teams such as the Jets, Giants, Eagles and Bills, and the second half of the season won't be so easy for the team, either, but look for Drew Brees and his Saints to rocket full-force into the playoffs this year.
Denver Broncos: The Broncos are the surprise team of the year. The team's young, energetic head coach Josh McDaniels was under fire in the offseason for coaching tactics but seems to be leading his crew fantastically now. The 6-0 Broncos are a favorite to rule the AFC West and are one of the healthiest teams in the league so far, and with one of the best offensive lines in the league and a revamped 3-4 defense that could even give the pompous Chad Ochocinco nightmares, the Broncos are most certainly a team worth noticing this season.
Honorable mention - Minnesota Vikings: All of the aforementioned teams are currently 6-0 after Week 7, but one team who has a respectable record without having a bye is the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikes are absolutely red-hot (or purple-hot?) this season, and the incredible spark between Brett Favre and Adrian Peterson has led Minnesota to a 6-1 record so far. The Vikings fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers in a fierce Week 7 battle, but that's not the only tough team Minnesota has faced this season. They've overcome the Baltimore Ravens and Green Bay Packers already this season, and respect is due to No. 4 and his counterparts for keeping things fresh in the Twin Cities.
