Some people do not have a security system because of how costly they are. If this is true than just install your own system. You can purchase them for $100 at Home Depot or Lowes. Try to put sensors on each the doors and windows. If you can try to put in an extra security measure that can alert the alarm company as to your problem so they are able to call the police.

The most basic and simplest way to secure your home is to have the proper locks on each the entry ways. Each door will be made with the simple and most standard of locks. Make sure that it is also built with a deadbolt lock. These are tough and tough for numerous trespassers to break through.
