With an unsecured wireless network the task of the would be hacker is made all too easy. It's like leaving your front door wide open and a big sign out the front saying take what you want!
Like all technology today it is time saving, convenient and in the wrong hands dangerous. I would strongly advise everyone with a wireless network to make sure that it properly secured and if you have any doubt seek the services of a computer expert.
