She was planning her event by herself but kept hitting a wall because it seems that when it comes to experiencing party entertainment. her group of party goers have "Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt, stuffed it in a drawer, took it out six months later and sold it at a yard sale". Her party is coming up right away and it is an emergency, she told me. She needs some thrills for her event. She needs to add some excitement to her festivities. She needs...Mystery!
I assured her that we could accommodate her request and coordinate all of the details of her party. Our mystery and magic party entertainment would rescue her event and add intrigue, suspense, laughter, and of course...Murder... to the mix and provide an unforgettable evening that her guests would be talking about for years to come.
We chatted casually about the staged double homicide crime scene that her party was going to become. As we discussed the itinerary for the evening's murder mystery party adventure, she said she couldn't believe the conversation we were having. We both laughed at the absurdity of it and then we dished the dirt on all of her friends that we were going to "Frame" as suspects in the "investigation".
My new client was getting very excited as she pictured the events of the party unfolding in her mind. She and I both knew this was going to be a smash hit and that she would maintain her reputation for throwing the best parties. I am kicking around the idea of renaming my company "EMT Parties" because if a party needs rescuing from the same old same old, I know our Emergency Mystery Troupe is the prefect solution. Of course, my partner in crime, my wonderful wife Nora, reminded me that Sharpo! brand already means that - and more. "Simply Have A Really Perfect Occasion!"
