I am not a chemist, but I did the best I could to research these ingredients. Several of the ingredients in electronic cigarettes have proven harmful, and others have been untested.
The Dangers of Tobacco-burning Cigarettes:
Approximately 60 of the chemicals in tobacco-burning cigarettes are known to cause cancer. These carcinogens include: tobacco-specific N-nitrosamines, Benzene, Pesticides, Formaldehyde, Arsenic, Cadmium, Ammonia, Carbon Monoxide, Hydrogen Cyanide, Nicotine. Additionally, whereas electronic cigarettes do not cause second hand smoke inhalation, tobacco-burning cigarettes are known to be harmful to those in the vicinity of the smoker.
