The Angel of the Lord had just made the announcement of the birth of Jesus Christ to the Shepherds that were abiding by night keeping watch over their flock. Suddenly there was with the Angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying; Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!
Surprisingly we find many in fact an army of Angels now rejoicing over the fact that salvation has come to mankind. They were praising God the one who made it all possible, through the coming of Jesus Christ. There is great joy in heaven over just one who repents, confesses their sins, and He is faithful and just to forgive us.

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: 14 "Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"

7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance

9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Prayer -
Heavenly Father, today we rejoice just as the heavenly host because salvation has come through Jesus Christ.
