Wiki Leaks Another "Stage Managed" Trick by the USA after 9/11

Technology... is a queer thing. It brings you great gifts with one hand, and it stabs you in the back with the other. ~C.P. Snow,New York Times, 15 March 1971~

WikiLeaksis an international non-profit media organization that publishes submissions of otherwise unavailable documents from anonymous leaks. Its website, launched in 2006, is run by The Sunshine Press.Within a year of its launch, the site claimed a database that had grown to more than 1.2 million documents.

In January 2007, the website stated that it had over 1.2 million leaked documents that it was preparing to publish.Millions of secret transmissions passed through it. The activist noticed that hackers from China were using the network to gather foreign governments' information, and began to record this traffic. Only a small fraction has ever been posted on WikiLeaks, but the initial tranche served as the site's foundation, and Assange was able to say, "We have received over one million documents from thirteen countries."

In the recent leaks, The White House condemned WikiLeaks' as "reckless and dangerous action" in releasing classified U.S. diplomatic cables and said the move endangered lives and risked hurting relations with friendly countries. The secret US diplomatic communications leaked by Wikileaks have exposed a dangerous standoff over the use of highly enriched uranium in Pakistani reactor as America fears the fuel can be used for making illicit nuclear device. Documents show Saudi donors remain chief financiers of militant groups likeal-Qaida and that Chinese government operatives have waged a coordinated campaign of computer sabotage, targeting the US and its allies, according to a review of the WikiLeaks documents published in the New York Times.

According to USA, it is an illegal act but in today's fast growing world of technology it is impossible to harness and hide any information. The USA must not condemn the leak as she is the biggest supporter and user of information technology and must recognize it as natural flow of information technology. Instead of blaming the leak, USA should rather focus on the security and safe keeping of her own "systems". Moreover, it should give a clear message to USA and other fast growing developed countries that the information technology will bring more and more harm to the self created "global village concept".

The growing number of attacks on our cyber networks has become, in President Obama's words, "one of the most serious economic and national security threats our nation faces"." According to The Department of Homeland Security, USA, "We're building one of the best teams anywhere to keep our federal civilian networks secure, and secure the cyberspace and critical infrastructure on which we all depend. That means working across the federal government, partnering with the private sector, and empowering the general public to create a safe, secure, and resilient cyber environment, and promote cyber security knowledge and innovation".

Is it a genuine leak or the information was made to leak? Who is the real beneficiary? Who all will be the sufferers? The exposure of this "so called" secret information has strategic and far reaching effects on the Muslim states, especially the relationships between Saudi Arabia, Iran and Pakistan and amongst few other Muslim countries will be severed for which a positive and realistic approach needs to be adopted. It seems impracticable that such leak of information in this point of time, take place without the notice of USA or she is so incapable of safe guarding her cyber security systems? Do we say it as "another frustrated stage managed trick by USA after the 9 /11 attempt?" For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled.
