Trinity Yachts is perhaps the most respected American yacht have recently launched their latest luxury yacht. It is a 57.60 meter tri deck and has been built predominantly with aluminum. The exterior design and naval architecture has been done in house by Trinity. Though, the interior styling has been done by Carol Williamson. The new luxury yacht by Trinity will be known as Carpe Diem.
Trinitys new yacht is MCA compliant and is classed ABS Maltese Cross A1 Yachting Service, AMS. It has two powerful engines, CAT 3516B marine diesels that pump out 3,384 horse power each. The yacht was known as TO47 while it was under construction. The yacht boasts of four roomy staterooms and has an alternative cabin that can be used as a gym as well. The master suite is located forward on the main deck.
On the deck below, in the forward part of the hull, there is sufficient accommodation for ten crew members to sleep comfortably. It is out of sight from the guest accommodations and a separate stairs has been provided to allow crew to pass around the guests rooms and onto the main deck.
Superyacht Show
Singapore is gearing up for the inaugural Superyacht Show will be held next spring and promises to be a grand success. The show will bring together Asias ultra high net worth individuals and all the major players of the regions luxury yachting industry. The show will be a good platform for local and regional exhibitors, as well as some key international players keen to find new avenues in the emerging markets of the east.
The Asian markets are hungry for top end luxury products and the show will provide an opportunity to the international players to showcase their latest products. It will also be an opportunity for industry leaders to network and share best practices with new partners from around Asia. Singapore Tourism Board and the Singapore Exhibition & Convention Bureau are sparing no efforts to make the show a success and reinforce Singapores position as a prime destination for dynamic and influential business exchange.
The ultra luxurious event will be held at ONE15 Marina Club in Sentosa Cove.
SnowbirD
Hakvoort is the Dutch yacht builder is the 39 meter luxury motor yacht which has since been christened SnowbirD. It was being constructed under the project name Pretty Woman. It could have been named that even after completion as it has turned out to be a pretty yacht. The interior of SnowbirD is by Michela Reverberi whilst the exterior styling is by Cor D Rover.
The yachts interior has a traditional modern style. The full-beam owners suite includes a stateroom with a king-size bed and large walk-in wardrobe, plus a study. There are four guest cabins on the lower deck, two double VIP cabins and two twin-bed guest room all with ensuite bathrooms.
The social areas of the SnowbirD are equally impressive and luxurious. There is an open plan main lounge/dining area arrangement. A large whirlpool bathtub accommodates up to six people and a BBQ grill is being installed in a granite-topped bar. The sun deck features plenty of open space for sunbathing as well as two large sofas and adjustable teak tables. The bridge deck lounge opens up onto a delightful aft area with built-in seating and tables, plus a teak dining table.
