Nick Faldo has accused Colin Montgomerie of snubbing his advice as he searches for a winning formula in this year's Ryder Cup.
Six-time Major winner Faldo wrote to Monty last month suggesting they meet to discuss his experiences as Europe's captain in the 16-11 defeat by America at Valhalla two years ago.
But so far he has not received a reply and Monty made no effort to speak to Faldo in Munich in the past few days when both were competing at the BMW International Open.
Faldo, who left the BMW on Friday after missing the cut, said: "I didn't want just to make my views known to him just through the media. So I wrote to Monty three weeks ago suggesting we meet up for a chat, but I have not had a reply.
"I don't think there's any need to say any more. It says it all."
Asked about talking to Faldo (below), Monty said: "Nick missed out here so I don't know what he is doing."
But the Scot was planning a meeting last night with Bernhard Langer, captain of Europe's record setting ninepoint Ryder Cup win at Oakland Hills.
