It's a building which is found in the ground of some fashionable residences since 17th century. It's similar to a green house or a conservatory. The name green should ring a bell for some. For those who have no idea this place was used as a place to winter citrus trees. They are kept in such a room so that the frost won't damage the flowers and fruits of the tree. The origin of the concept was from Italy.

There are many famous conservatories in United Kingdom as well. They look absolutely marvelous regardless of the fact that there is no much work done to make it look beautiful. Many are there who utilize this place to spend there free time. Some have even stated that they use orangeries as a place to get together with friends.
