subject: Online Marketing Experts - You Need A Mentor [print this page]

When doing my research for this article I found lots of pieces on how we don't need online marketing experts. The truth is we do, especially if you're just starting out.

Having a mentor is fundamental to building a successful internet business. I can safely say that had it not been for my mentor I would have dropped out of this a long time ago, and missed out on a life that I love.

When you sign up with an online marketing opportunity you must look to see if you'll be getting a mentor who will be able to teach you marketing techniques one on one and also give you guidance if you start to struggle with your mindset.

Make you get the below resources from your mentor.

1) weekly training

2) contact information - phone number and email

If they're not giving you that then they're probably not an online marketing expert.

Finding a mentor is not difficult. Just start connecting with people on social media and if someone starts talking back then you know they're the real deal. That was how I found Cassie Strom. She's not my actual mentor but she does help me from time to time. My mentors were Neil Ashworth and Lena Bjorna.

I find that one of the hardest parts about internet marketing is having strength to stay with when things don't seem to be working. Having someone there who can tell you from experience that you just need to wait it out a little longer can be the difference between a successful home business and a failure.

So much of succeeding with any kind of business is your mindset. A great preacher of this Mike Dillard and he hits the nail on the head every time. It's an actual fact that the amount of money you will earn in the next 5 years is highly likely to be the average of your 5 closest friends. That means you need to start being around the people who are succeeding week in week out. But that is more likely than not, impossible.

But you don't need to be hanging around with these online marketing experts. Just being in touch means you'll be picking up on their mindset without even knowing it. And if you can get in on an opportunity that provides lots of access to marketing experts it'll be impossible to fail.
