subject: Hp Touchsmart 300-1125 All-in-one Pros And Cons [print this page]

The Hp TouchSmart 300-1125 is an all in one powerful and very solid touch screen computer. From the manufacturer, the TouchSmart 300-1125 redefines what touch can do for you and what you can do with touch. It's very easy for one to use their fingers to immerse themselves into this device for work and play. It's simply a heck of a lot of fun.

So let me give everyone a rundown of some of the pros and cons of this computer.

Pros -

It's surprising solid and heavy yet slim

The touch screen is amazing, although I've used touchscreens with XP before it never seems to be smooth

You can navigate around the screen pretty smoothly like an Ipad

There's very little to set up for the first time

No cables and no mouse requires, the only cable is for the AC and ethernet but it has built in Wifi

It includes and nice HP sleek, black wireless mouse easy to plug in and play

The keybourd is smooth much like laptop keyboards

It's very complimentary to the living room or the kitchen and it well perform well there too

HD Screens looks very clear and high quality

HP Has good and helpfull tech support

Very convenient, space wise as it's an All-In-One

The screen is solid with some kind of plastic, and it's not soft like an LCD screen but it's not Glass either

It comes with a remote which sort of look like a TV remote which is pretty handy when you're across the room and want to use as a music player

Touching the screen is very nice for visual activities such as scrolling through your pictures

You can use the keyboard on the screen, so sometimes you don't need to look up and down at the keyboard when you can simply press keys on the screen itself.

Cons -

Height not adjustable

Doesn't come with a trial of Microsoft Office

Difficult to upgrade, it has a 4GB of RAM which can be upgraded to an 8GB

No BlueRay Player

It's an All-In-One so which means that if one internal hardware such as the speaker is not working then you have to send in the whole thing for repair

The HP TouchSmart 300-1125 is an overall a very good product with pros that far outweighs the cons, the more you use it I trust that you will like it, you simply just need to adjust and get use to the touch screen feature, there is a way to change it's settings so that the touch area is wider so that you don't have to be extremely preicse when touching buttons and click boxes. One complaint is that there's no internal Blue-ray player but I'm sure within a few years external Blue-Ray players will be inexpencive, the whole computer itself weighs around 22-25 punds so it's far from being lightweight.
