What is your excuse for not getting out and buying an Xbox Kinect? If you're like me you usually want to try it out before you buy it. I did exactly that. I went to my local best buy and tested it. I got there and stood in line waiting eagerly to play. To tell the truth I had my son go up and play it.He is more excited than I am about it and is better at it than me.When your 7 its ok but when your 30 people its another story.There isnt any one that should be judging it more than him since he is the one who willl be playing it.
They had several games that he tested out. He played a game called kinectimals first. In this game you play or interact with a virtual pet.In this game you teach an animal tricks or can enjoy some free play time.If you are a parent you will really appreciate this game.A dog for christmas is what my son has been asking for. I enjoy animals as much as the next person but I dont like them in my house.I promise not more than a month will pass and i will be the one taking care of the dog. Now his Christmas list has changed from wanting a dog to wanting kinectimals.The best part is I don't have to clean up after a tiger once he gets bored with it!
They also had Xbox Kinect adventures for him to try out. This game comes with every kinect wether you want it to or not.This game was designed to get parents and their kids playing together.In this game you travel the world looking for more adventures. My son really enjoyed this game.This one made me forget about the fact that i was dancing around in front of a bunch of strangers.We were all there for the same reason so everyone enjoyed the show.This game was so much fun. My son and I were pushing eachother over and working together. This was a winner to me.
For those of you who aren't sure about it or aren't into video games I would highly recommend a trip to your local best buy to try it out. Make sure you take your kid along with you. Watching others have fun with it is not half as good as getting in there yourself and trying it out.
