Network Marketing Success Tip: Separate the Curious from the Serious

If you are in the Network Marketing industry then you've go to remember that 96% of the people you meet is not cut out to be an entrepreneur. The vast majority of people out there are just curious, and not serious. As Oscar Wilde puts it, "People have an insatiable curiosity to know everything, except what is worth knowing".

To succeed in Network Marketing, you have to have either of the two mindsets: Seek out the 4%' or Eliminate the 96%'. Which one are you? Most entrepreneurs take the former and lose steam as time progresses. Let's explore why. Imagine you tracking your progress on a scorecard. Imagine you are looking for the 4%, and you have already gone through 35 prospects and none of them signed up. Now what does your scorecard read? 0%' success! Correct? This is why most entrepreneurs in the network marketing business give up; because there is no measurable progress in reasonable amount of time.

On the other hand, as any top-earning leader in the industry, if you have the mindset of Eliminate the 96%', you start seeing progress from the very first prospect onwards. Imagine you have met 35 prospects and all of them have rejected the opportunity. Now your scorecard reads '35 out of 96 eliminated'. That's a 36% success rate!

Most prospects don't quality for your time. It is very important that this fact sinks in, especially for the new comers into the industry. Filtering out the serious from the curious should be a priority task for you, if you aim to be successful in the network marketing industry.

It's like this: if you want to find a gold ring in a haystack, which method is easier? Search for the gold ring, or burn the haystack down? Of course, the latter! The ring will stick out by itself in stark contrast to its charred surroundings. Now that is exactly the way you should go approaching your network marketing business. Remember, the intention is to not qualify people for your business but rather to disqualify people from being part of your business.

God bless.
