We don't have to catch cold easily if we have a good floor covering. There are many types of carpets available to us today such as woven carpets, needle punched, knotted, tufted and much more. Carpet manufacturing has become a very successful business these days and carpet making is not an easy task. In fact carpet making is the heritage of some countries.
The most efforts taking carpet manufacturing is the needle punched carpets. Though machine made carpets are easily to make, they cannot be designed traditionally. Handmade carpets are much more durable than machine made carpets. Also handmade carpets use natural fibers and can be designed with attractive swirls. The process of carpet making starts with sorting of good quality wool and dust is separated in this process. The sorted wools are then washed and dried and the damaged wools are separated before that. The wools then undergo the process of carding which is blending of the wool.
The blended wools are spun at high speeds and made into yarns. Then the yarns are dyed and sent for weaving to the weavers. As soon as the weaving process is over, the designs are trimmed on the carpets. At last it is dried for five to six days before the final touches are added. The woven carpets are finally stored in packets until they are sold at the markets.
