I decided to start a social network for women that is geared towards everyday challenges like menopause. I wanted to talk to other women who were going through symptoms of menopause and find out what they were doing to get through their hot flashes because it was making me crazy. I did not have medical insurance and was not working, so going to my doctor to get questions answered and have tests done was out of the question
in my eyes. I really wanted to just talk to others that were going through the same thing and see how they were coping.
That's what gave me the idea to start a social network for women. I knew there had to be other women like me that would like to talk to others going through the same frustrations of their everyday challenges. For myself I did not go through premenopausal symptoms. It full blown hit me at the age of 51 yrs. I have a friend 35 yrs old who said she wa premenopausal and the heat from her hot flashes would work it's way up through the top of her head.
Another big concern was the forgetfulness , I thought I might have alzheimers. I was depressed thinking I was going crazy. I didn't know what was going on with my body. I didn't like it, it wasn't me.
That's why I started this community for women to come together and talk about what is on their minds. I see it going farther than women with menopause. I'd like to talk about life, families, kids, cooking, beauty, business, celebrities, jobs and many more types of discussions.
