SEO The Truth From SEO Consultants
SEO The Truth From SEO Consultants

Search Engine Optimisation is one of the most hotly discussed industries on the world wide web presently. You're probably not shocked that those people who can genuinely prove to be able to get your website to the coveted top 3 positions in Google for the "lottery" phrases, can charge hourly rates akin to the top accountants these days.

Why are there so many experts, but so few that can actually deliver? Well, believe it or not, SEO is not the dark art some would have you believe, but it is hard work. By hard work, I mean long, hard work, that can be laborious - but it is eventually very rewarding, btoth financially and emotionally. Both these skills are not the skills typical of an internet entrepeneur. If you have ever met any SEO Consultants who are successful, I would almost bet my car they are not the life and soul of the party - not a criticism, just an observation of character traits.

It's for this reason that a lot of SEO is outsourced - the typical internet entrepeneur knows what they want, but doesn't know how they can get there ( seo wise ) - so they outsource to an SEO company. Now choosing the right company can be a big conundrum in itself. One with a proven track record, customer testimonials and who aren't afraid to let you speak to their customers is usually a good sign.

Well if it thats Janet and john, why do so many fail at it, or just not bother doing it? Well, I may have made it sound easier than it is I guess, you see, if you're producing good content, and you're building links, it's a bit like saying you're an artist if you put paint on a canvas. The missing part is how you apply these two skills, when you apply them, and how heavily you apply them. Your links are only good if they compliment that online content and have the right anchor text, and come from authorative sites.

The other aspect of SEO that is so often overlookedis the research and analysis part. But these small "lessons" are easily learned, and once they are, they are invaluable. My parting words would be - SEO isn't hard, if you work hard, you can make it.
