Security Alarms For a More Secured Home

Security system companies started its market in the business sector by selling different alarms, motion detectors or hidden surveillance camera. With the fast-changing technology, more and more security systems are now being placed in every home, ranging from a simpler one to the most advanced and complicated security alarms. Security alarms are important in every home because this makes a family less stressed and more relaxing especially at night knowing that they are tightly secured and safe at the comfort of their home.

There are two kinds of burglar alarms that are being sold in the market today: the bells alarm and the monitored alarm. The bells alarm produces sound once the sensor is activated and is considered the simplest and costless alarm system. This kind of alarm uses the principle of open and short circuit, where it uses a magnetic sensor which you would choose between the two. Open circuit sensor is normally engaged once the current sensor starts to flow. One good example is the door buzzer, once the person started pressing a button, current started to flow and the warning buzzer will started to make sound. While the closed circuit sensor is where the current is actually being supplied into the circuit and another circuit would automatically engage making an alarming buzzer upon forced entry. These alarms are mostly cheap since most of its parts are basically common to electronic stores and can be easily installed by home owners.

The second kind of alarm system which is the monitored alarm, coming from its name "monitored" which means this alarm system is actually connected to the nearest police station. Once the alarm system is activated a signal is automatically sent to the police station informing them of any forced entry. This system is considered highly complicated since different wires and signals must be properly connected to the supply and the phone line that would instantly alarm proper authorities. This system need to be installed by professional electricians. It usually uses manual control but with the introduction of different technology some alarm system are now being activated by a computer or sometimes a remote control. Monitored alarms are quite expensive since most of its parts are specifically made up of different circuit boards/circuit lay outs and are not usually found in stores.
