Forces That Guarantees Divine Remembrance (Part I)

In Psalm 32:12 King David declares, albeit dejectedly "I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel." In Job 19:14 Job points out his frustration thus: "My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me."

To be forgotten and to be remembered are on two opposing sides of the divide. To be forgotten by man is no doubt painful, particularly when your previous actions to such people do not warrant that they should forget you. To be forgotten by God leaves a man worse off. I will be sharing on "Forces That Guarantees Divine Remembrance."

After acting on God's instructions to build an ark and move his entire family into the ark in Genesis 7:1, the rain and floods of water that fell on the earth continued unabated for several months. Noah seemed as though he had been forgotten by God; particularly as there were no signs that the floods where ever going to recede. Nothing is as painful as seemingly being forgotten even when you acted on the instructions of God. But as we go through scriptures, we can concurr with King David in his famous Psalm 37:25 "I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken..." No matter how long it may seem, God will always remember the righteous.

On December 9, 2009, God said to me "In year 2010, I WILL REMEMBER."

Questions must have arisen in the heart of Noah as the waters refused to assuage - Is this how this will continue? Are we going to be locked up in here forever? When will God come and set us free! When are we going to return back to the land? Questions would have come up in his heart. His wife would've asked questions. His children would've asked theirs too. Their wives would have asked questions. The noise of the various animals would've become an issue over time. Expectations may have begun to dim for some of the occupants of the ark but, in Genesis 8:1, scripture declares: "God remembered Noah..." Someone who is reading this has already concluded "I have been forgotten." Well, I'm hear to announce to you, God is remembering you already! Angels are acting on your behalf now! Heaven is moving men to reach out and be a blessing to you! Your time has come!

When God remembers you, DELIVERANCE will come for you. When God remembers you, LIFTING will be your portion. When God remembers you, MEN will remember you. In Exodus 2:24-25, God remembered Israel while they were in Egypt. What followed? Deliverance and Liberation from slavery and captivity. Someone who is under slavery and captivity is coming out now! Because God is remembering you already.

In Daniel 6:19-20, God remembered Daniel in the Lions den. What followed? The mouth of the Lions were shut that they should not devour Daniel. God remembered Daniel and caused the King Darius to remeber Daniel also for good. Your works are coming before God now. Someone is going to stirred to remember you for good!

In Genesis 41:9, when God remembered Joseph in prison, in one day he became the Prime minister of the old Egyptian empire!

Everyone among these individuals that God remembered had some quality, characteristic, attributes or actions that they manifested that qualified them to be remembered by God. We will be looking at such attributes in this message. I have called those qualities or characteristics "FORCES". Drawing from elementary physics we understand that "... every object remains in a permanent state of rest or uniform motion until it is acted upon by an external force..." We will be looking at these external forces that will position you to be remembered, by God!

1) The FORCE of God's WORD - His PROMISES

Nothing is as strong as the WORD of God! IT IS THE STRONGEST FORCE IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE! Hebrews 11:3 emphasizes "...the worlds were framed by the word of God..." In Genesis 22:2 God instructed Abraham to sacrifice his beloved son, Isaac. Abraham knew that God would never negate His word. God had said to him earlier in Genesis 17:21 "But my covenant will I establish with Isaac..." So when in Genesis 22 God came up with the idea of sacrificing Isaac, there was only one thing that Abraham needed to be certain about - Is it God that was speaking to him? Many people are believing God and holding unto God for what God never spoke to them about. Because God had earlier told Abraham - my covenant will be established with Isaac, Abraham was convinced that even if he sacrificed Isaac, God would raise him up from the dead - in order to fulfil His covenant! No wonder the angel had to stop Abraham from sacrificing Isaac - that the covenant might be fulfilled. (Gen. 22:11-12)

Once you locate God's word, it becomes a strong basis for you to be remembered for good. Isaiah 41:21 says "Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob." God is basically saying - get me the word that I pronounced concerning that situation and let the word compel me to remember and act on your behalf. As pursue to locate God's words, may insight and revelation open up to you in Jesus mighty name! I see the force of God's promises breaking every barrier and releasing your joys to you! Your body will respond to the decrees of God to be fruitful! Your marriage will respond to His decrees to be peaceful! Your business and career will respond to His decrees to be profitable! It is well with you! See you on the side of victory!
