Atherosclerosis is responsible for much coronary artery disease (angina and heart attacks) and many strokes.

On the other hand, HDL cholesterol is called the "good cholesterol" because HDL cholesterol prevents atherosclerosis, lower cholesterol naturally, by extracting cholesterol from the artery walls and disposing of them through the liver naturally

Polyunsaturated fats contribute to oxidation and free radical damage in the body, which is linked to heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer's disease, autoimmune diseases and premature aging.

On the other hand, some fats do you good. Monounsaturated fats are the most beneficial for the heart, because they not only reduce the bad LDL Cholesterol, but they also increase the HDL "good" Cholesterol

If your cholesterol levels are found to be higher than they are supposed to be, your doctor may prescribe that you make certain changes to your lifestyle, medications, or both of these to assist you to lower cholesterol naturally.
