According to ayurvedic practices one should have ample of water, make sure the water is fresh and clean. Drinking 2- 3 liters of water per day is going to be sufficient and will help in secreting toxins out of the body.

Fresh fruits and vegetables have to be major portion of the diet as they provide antioxidants to the body that process cancer fighting properties.

Apart from this a daily bath is essential as it helps cleanse the skin. A herbal soap is the best option for a bath.

Washing the face twice daily with herbal natural scrubs like gram flour, fenugreek powder, green gram flour, lentil flour etc can give excellent results. Facial with natural fresh herbs vegetables and fruits works wonders. Sandal wood paste, honey, turmeric, cucumber, water melon would be your menu for a facial once a week.

A complete body massage with sesame oil once a week is advised in Ayurveda for a perfect toned skin.

A glass of water with a spoon of honey drunk empty stomach is of high value in Ayurveda for the whole body.

Pranayam daily for 15 minutes would be sufficient to keep you hale and hearty.

Following a strict regimen and going by the book called Ayurveda will help you lead a healthy and beautiful life. Ayurvedic methods are such that they can be followed very easily. Everything you need to work with is available in your kitchen.
