Scientific career is the choice which is associated with the necessity of self improvement and constant self education in order to follow the global research tendencies in the selected sphere. Considering the fact that the key requirements for the successful scientific career are closely associated with the matters of self-discipline and self-education (self-motivation as a result), it should be emphasized that the people, who dedicate their lives to scientific careers, should be properly motivated in order to perform successful career development. In fact, students who start scientific careers, should be in love with the subjects of their interest, and be ready to sacrifice their personal life and spare time to researches, science, and self-education. Scientific Career and Self-Definition Before starting a scientific career, a student should define whether he or she would be able to sacrifice his or her life to science, and dedicate all the resources to researches and self-education. In fact, the principles of self-definition entail some central questions which define the aspects of person's appropriation. These questions are as follows: Who am I? What will be the consequences of my choice? How do I become what I want? Whether my choice will help me to reach my life goals What alternatives do I have? These are the questions which help to define whether a scientific career is the thing that is worth all the sacrifices. Finally, a student, who wishes to start his or her scientific career, should define and outline the research project which will be developed. Surely, it does not mean that this is the only project for the rest of the scientific career; however, a person should clearly define the sphere of his or her interests, and the frameworks of further research.
