Inuyasha and gang check out a lakeside village

Inuyasha and gang visit a lakeside village, where a sea-demon is threatening people there. Then, Miroku is confronted by an oldtime flame from his past. Naturally , this is simply not great news for Sango.

RECAP :

The episode begins in a lakeside temple where someone is frantically attempting to conciliate the god. Nearby Inuyasha feels a tremor from the identical lake, in which the water isn't rolling violently. They soon realize it is no regular earthquake once they sense a demonic presence emanating on the water.

When they arrive at the shore, they soon face the still worried man that has made the contribution to the god. Unexpectedly, the man actually is alert to Miroku and strangely asks him if he's visit rejoin his family. He brings the confounded monk and every one of his friends where you can in which a big event is it being ready. Kagome interrogates the still perplexed Miroku of what is going on, while Sango sits in silence wanting to act calm.

Shortly afterwards they arrive, a fresh woman named Shima excitedly greets Miroku. This does a bit more then irritate the already suspicious Sango. It just so happens until this girl has been awaiting Miroku to go back, and also the situation is made increasingly awkward with Sango still in the vicinity. It is says Miroku has met Shima a couple of years pior to the encounter. Shima was sick, but she recovered using a mix of medicinal herbs along with a promise from Miroku. The promise was which he would return and father her children.

Not surprisingly, Sango isn't very excited with all the news. Despite the fact that she tries to conceal her true rage her friends can say that Sango is quite upset in what she is hearing. However, within the luxurious house, Miroku is trying to weasel his another option in the engagement, but things aren't looking superior for him. It entirely possible that Shima and her family are greatly looking towards the nuptials. Unfortunately, there is certainly a demon named Nushi who desperately wishes to wed the beautiful Shima and will not imagine that she actually is already engaged to a different man. Nushi wishes to claim Shima as his bride, based on Shima's father, this because she's pure and untainted. So if Shima marries another man Nushi would virtually no longer covet her as well as leaving.

Suddenly, the demon arrives to assert Shima as his wife. The demon slowly approaches and Inuyasha unsheathes his sword, capable attack the oncoming menace. Aghast at the news, Shima kneels at Nushi's feet requesting forgiveness, praoclaiming that she is much less "pure" when he believes; this lady has already committed herself to Miroku. Everybody has mixed reactions. Sango is silently telling herself, that this is through the past, despite the fact that she actually is clearly becoming a lot more upset. Kagome is apparently completely doubting everything being said, and Inuyasha actually receives confirmation for his beliefs.

The disturbed Nushi then transforms into his true form, a gigantic fish. Nushi lashes out furiously across the courtyard and Miroku asks Sango that can help him, but she merely tells him that he or she must do this without her. Inuyasha reveals his sword again, as well as the fearful demon quickly transforms to his earlier form. Nushi starts crying pathetically and Inuyasha cannot bring himself to slaughter the miserable creature. Elsewhere, Miroku desperately tries to describe to Sango how it happened within the circumstances, but she's unwilling to concentrate. Poor Shima tries to support soothe Sango's feelings also, but Sango merely stalks off.

The unfortunate Miroku is upset that Sango no longer has faith in him, even though he's dedicated himself to her. However, beyond nowhere Nushi grabs Shima and drags her back to the lake, and Miroku and the friends chase after him. Because the demon is running, he happens to sprint past Sango, who's sitting silently around the shore on the lake. Although she has still angry, Sango won't allow Shima being hurt by Nushi. Nushi transforms into his demon catfish appearance, plunges within the water, followed quickly by Sango.

Though Sango saves Shima, she actually is overcomebecause of the demon and here it would appear that both women are usually now being held captive. Seeing what he's done to Sango, Miroku springs into action to save her. Miroku quickly opens his Wind Tunnel and dries the complete lake, leaving the demon extremely defenseless. Overpowered from the furious Miroku, Nushi apologizes hysterically, seeking to save his well-known life. Throughout the disturbance, Sango's disposition gets calmer and she or he feels greater when Shima tells her that her "relationship" with Miroku would have been a lie. Shima didn't choose to marry the putrid demon so she lied about her experience of Miroku they are driving Nushi away. Following a lot of apologizing, the team resumes their search for the sacred jewel shards, with Sango and Miroku on good terms again.
