Get a decorating bag and put a star-shaped tip on it. You will make stars or star-shaped flowers. Hold the bag upright, while the tip of the bag is quarter of an inch above the surface of the cake. Squeeze the decorating bag so that the icing will let out and form a star. As you squeeze downward, pull the tip straight away from the cake. To make a flower, add a dot at the center of the star.
LEAF
Make a green icing and choose a leaf tip to be put on the decorating bag. Do the same steps just like how you do the star or flower.
GARLANDS
Use a star tip or a leaf tip when applying the whipped cream to the edges of the cake. Match both the top and bottom edges for a nicer look.
