Remember when you were told in order to succeed in Internet marketing "you have to work hard and set your mind to it"? Then you heard another old saying "get your mind right and keep your nose to grindstone and you will succeed". So I always worked hard and set my mind to it on everything I attempted. I thought this was good advice and sometimes it did work. But as time went on I realize that those old sayings were close but not right.
Instead of setting your mind to it, it should have been that you have to have the right mindset. When I practiced karate (many years ago) before I would fight in a tournament my instructor would ask me if I thought I could win my fight, which I always answered yes. One day my instructor asked me if I thought I could win, and I told him I didn't know. He immediately told me to return to my seat. I didn't understand at first, then he explained if I didn't think I could win I had already lost the fight.
Most people, possibly even yourself have been in a structured environment most of their life. This structure started when they began going to school, and continued throughout most people's lives as they entered into the workforce, military, or other organizations. You have to think in ways that are outside of that structure and it may not be easy at first. Basically you will have to retrain your mind to think in a positive mindset. Once you learn to apply a positive mindset and maintain a positive attitude your whole life will change.
Mindset is a different way of thinking using positive methods of thought. When you come to a new challenge instead of saying "I don't think I can do that" or "I don't know if I can do that" approach it with the attitude of "how can I do that". It is more successful to figure out how you can do something and follow through with that process then to have a negative approach to your challenge. Just remember it is up to you, you can go through life with a "no I can't" attitude, and you will not succeed. You can change your attitude to "yes I can" and succeed in Internet marketing. You may not succeed all of the time but, you will succeed more than you would have with that "no I can't" attitude.
