will recycled plastic products will help reduce carbon footprint and save jobs?

Plastic has benefited our society in a number of ways. An example of this is in aviation technology improving the progression in the last twenty or so years applications have included satellites, shuttles, aircraft, and airborne weapons. As a result air travel has improved, as well as military air power and space exploration. In addition, the building and construction, electronics, packaging, and transportation industries have all benefited greatly from plastic.

A great array of industries in the UK have moved to implement recycled plastic into the formation of their product lines examples here are soundproofing, building with a wide array of garden and park furniture being produced from recycled plastic materials. Animal housing has taken a move into the future with a wide array of recycled offering entering that market from pig arks to bird cages.

Plastics are heavily used in the building and construction industry with many companies moving to recycled plastic to improve their carbon footprint many of these companies will actually reuse plastics that have been used in their industries already this is a growing trend in the agricultural sphere where recycled farm plastics ranging from old used tractor tyres to bale wrapping and silage pit covers are recycled and turned into recycled plastic sheeting which in turn is turned back into products which will be reused in the same industry.

Some benefits of these recycled plastic products are that they are less likely to harbour bacteria and are more pest resistant. They are resistant to the weather and therefore will not require treatment for the elements thus saving the farmer time and money whilst also reducing overall carbon footprint for the farm as there is no need of either the extra chemicals and wood stain products. They are almost rot proof lasting for up to 30 very unlike their wooden counterparts also reducing the need for the removal of trees in the process vastly improving the carbon standpoint for recycled plastic.

Plastic recycling is no longer in it's infancy with many UK companies having completed over 20 years of business. The outlook for the sector is positive as it embraces the current needs of everyone on the planet local jobs from local resources as most major economies are looking to slim export and import ratios will have to balance somewhat as the consumer purchasing power of local buyers will dwindle without that offer of employment. Certainly the farming community has embraced the future and is starting to reap the benefits of recycled plastic products. They more than most understand the need for a stronger domestic marketplace as import and export duties are likely to fluctuate over the coming months.
