Also if there is anyone passing they could also help you. You should make sure that your jump leads are at least 8 feet long.
Finally, it's a good idea to carry a mobile phone with fully charged battery around with you when out on any journey. So make sure you are prepared and don't find yourself in a situation where you are stranded out on the roads.
