Napier Museum: It is located in Thiruvananthapuram. It was built in 1855 and was named after Lord Napier the then governor of Madras. It architectural style was influenced by Gothic architecture. It is a beautiful building and a true landmark of Kerala. Tourists can see rare ancient artifacts, coins, ornaments, bronze idols and an ancient temple chariot decorated with ivory carvings.
Mattupetty Dam: It is located near Munnar in Idukki district. It is a huge reservoir for collecting monsoon water. It is also a major producer of hydroelectricity. This dam also helps in irrigation and is a source of living for many villagers. Many animals also flourish on its water.
