The antique ones are much heavier then the newer ones and the cost are generally higher since they are often considered to be an antique. Several of these antique stoves are really over one century old and still in excellent working condition. If preserved properly and cleaned frequently, the stoves will continue to be in working condition as they were produced to withstand for a very long time.
