subject: Our Girly Road Trip To Newcastle [print this page] Last weekend me and three of my best mates decided we should go on a road trip but we couldnt decide where our trip would end so we could head back home. Today during my lunch break I will meet up with the girls at a coffee shop to pick our destination, and decide when to go.
So its decided we will end our trip at Newcastle, stay the night and head back home the following morning. As we dont get paid till the end of this month, we chose to go on the first weekend of next month that way we dont have to borrow from anybody.
The month had finally come and our trip weekend is in 2 days, I still havent done my packing or done our food shopping for the trip. I called the girls and arranged for us to meet up tonight after work so we can do the food shopping together, as we all like different things and I dont want anybody moaning on the trip.
Its the early hours of Friday and we are sneaking around my house getting ready for our trip and trying our best not to wake up my family. Im so excited that I dont want to eat breakfast but I forced myself because I know as soon as we hit the road I will say that Im hungry.
On our road trip we only done one pit stop for food and it was at Kidderminster, it wasnt planned but we all wanted warm food rather than just a cold sandwich. As we sat in the restaurant waiting for our food, I was looking out the window and saw a really nice used Ford in Kidderminster for sale and it was at a decent price.
As soon as we finished our lunch we was back on our road trip which happen to be going great so far and we werent even tired of driving yet.
