The next shift in SEO!
The next shift in SEO!

James Kinloch has been looking at ways that social and seo play togther. It seems from our session together that he is looking at them as a unit and not, in anyway (he says with seducitive passion) a different for. He goes on to talk about this.

"I am getting more and more people talk to me about Creative SEO the format I am credited with - and not talk about it in the right way. Work by Ben Hunt, for one, is so out there it inspires me. Can social be part of a user based design process. The next step in SEO is to create a way in that social informs SEO and back the other way." He says.

A User Based Design process is something that is growing is use for all people who are involved with Search Engine Optimisation or Creative SEO. It is a process by which the user is at the forefront of design and that they make the site popular for all the right reasons. This avoids what's called "on launch learning" and that is where an site starts to be understood after it has been launched.

Search Engines are one thing but you also must make sure that when a user is on the site they get on the path to conversion to your site vitals.

Site vitals is a term that means the aspects that make up a site to make sure it ranks well, looks right (not just good), can be navigated around in an easy fashion and most of all makes a user want to come back to your site.

And, that was the bulk of our chat.
