subject: The Newest Hobby Amongst People [print this page]

Watching television is the newest hobby for many people. Of course people were watching TV a long time now, but with all the recent technological advances and all the latest high-tech gadgets, it's almost become like a sport. Almost everyone has upgraded to an HDTV of some sort, be it DLP, LCD, plasma, HD television has become part of everyday life. What was high-tech a few years ago just became the norm and everyone is accustomed.

Manufacturers are always trying to make the experience more interactive and more realistic, and then 3D is becoming increasingly popular. Although it seems that the studios are forcing consumers to 3D cinema, with films of almost every child in the process of conversion to 3D, the technology is much more impressive than it has ever been. It 's much easier for the eyes, as the strain is less than they are and the special effects are more realistic than ever. Now, you can take home 3D experience.

The question is whether or not you want to. Many of the largest networks are beginning to broadcast in 3D and there are channels that are dedicated to the format. There are also Blu-ray players capable of playing Blu-ray and 3D will give you a 3D experience in high definition. The only problem is that you have to wear 3D glasses in the living room and even if they are a bit 'more comfortable, many people do not necessarily like wearing them.

This could be an obstacle that the format can never go beyond, because if you're not comfortable, then it does not matter how cool the technology. But if you do not mind the glasses and the initial expenditure, the 3D looks really cool. There are even cameras and digital camcorders that can be converted to D # to watch on your TV compatible 3D.

Imagine making home movies and taking pictures of your family vacation and being able to show them and watch them in 3D. You have to admit that it is a cool idea and if the manufacturers pulled it off and make the technology easy to use and even more important affordable, then it might just take off and become part of everyday life just like HD did. All you have to do is save up a few dollars and make another upgrade.
